Morgan Tucker Hoskins announced that she is running for reelection as Woodville alderman for Place 1. In a statement, she said she is a 2000 graduate of Woodville High School and holds a business management degree from Texas State University. She said she has worked for 20 years as an event manager in corporate America.
Hoskins said she moved back to Woodville 13 years ago to raise her family. She listed involvement in the Dogwood Festival, the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Athletic Booster Club and First Baptist Church of Woodville, where she has worked in youth and children's ministries.
She said she wants to work with other council members to support city staff, including first responders, and to make sound financial decisions. She said she wants Woodville to be a place where families with children can live and prosper.
