The Randle Lions sit atop the District 11-5A Division I football standings and are aiming for the state final on Dec. 19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The team reached the game the last two seasons, winning the state title in 2024 and finishing as runner-up to South Dallas Oak Cliff in 2025.

Senior linebacker A'Mari "Bull" Harris, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 205 pounds, leads the Lions with 83 total tackles, including 12 for loss. He also has five sacks, two passes defended, a fumble recovery and a caused fumble. Harris transferred to Randle from Fort Bend Marshall in 2025. Teammates began calling him "Bull" when he was about seven or eight years old, he said.

Randle is 7-0 in district play and plays at Friendswood on Friday, where a win would clinch the district title outright. The team is 9-0 overall, and its defense has allowed 74 points this season. Harris said the team works on being physical and playing fast.
