Seniors Josh Burns and Sohayla Morales were crowned Homecoming King and Queen at East Central High School. They were recognized in Hornet Stadium on Oct. 21, and the crowd applauded after the ceremony.
The full Homecoming Court also took the field that day. It includes sophomore Duchess Aneysa Santos and Duke Gumecindo Torres, Mr. and Miss EC Alex Navarro and Aubrianna Gutierrez, junior Prince Brandon Hernandez and Princess O'rya Henderson, and freshman Lady Bella Gloria and Lord Deron Luna.
On Oct. 23, the Hornets hosted the Steele Knights for their Homecoming game. The home team lost 17-34.
