The notice schedules the meeting for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the district's Radar Base offices, 1622 Maverick Industrial Park Road.
Interim General Manager Randy Edwards signed the notice. The board majority had removed Edwards from that position and later replaced him as board president. He remains a director. Questions have been raised because he used the managerial title on the notice.
The notice's certification also says it was posted before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2026. November 4 falls on a Wednesday, and Tuesday was November 3. The dispute follows the September 8, 2026, termination of General Manager Brenda McCalip. According to earlier reporting, Edwards rehired McCalip as assistant general manager the following day.
