The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Atlanta District has released its roadwork report for the week of November 8 to November 14. The report covers projects in Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison and Marion counties.
In Bowie County, work on Interstate 30 includes widening between Farm to Market Road 989/Kings Highway and the Arkansas state line. The westbound lanes are back to a two-lane pattern, and some eastbound exit and entrance ramps have changed. The FM 989/Kings Highway bridge at I-30 is being replaced, and traffic is detoured. U.S. 82 is also being widened in several sections, with daytime pavement work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. using alternating lane closures and a flagger.
Other listed work includes road rehabilitation on U.S. 271 in Camp County, concrete pavement repair on U.S. 59 in Cass County, and culvert replacement on FM 1998 in Harrison County. In Marion County, a bridge on State Highway 155 at Lake O' The Pines is being replaced, with traffic shifted and lane and shoulder closures in place.
