Hidalgo County Tax Assessor-Collector Pablo "Paul" Villarreal Jr. announced Wednesday that the county has mailed the 2026 consolidated tax statements. The statements are light blue and cover taxes for several taxing entities.
Property owners who have not received a statement can print one from the Hidalgo County website, www.hidalgocountytax.org, or call the Edinburg Main Office for their balance. The office's business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Taxes can be paid online at the county website by credit or debit card or by e-check. Cash or check payments can be made at all Lone Star National Bank locations within the county. The original light blue statement or the online statement is required for payments at the bank. The Edinburg Main Office can be reached at (956) 318-2157.
