Houston police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead at a home in southeast Houston on Wednesday evening, according to the Houston Police Department.
A relative called police around 5 p.m. after not hearing from the woman for several days. Officers went to the 8400 block of Broadway Street and found her inside the residence, officials said.
HPD homicide investigators are leading the case and are working to determine whether the death was from natural causes or another circumstance. Police have not released the woman's identity.
