The Marfa ISD School Board met Monday night for a regular meeting. Board members heard updates, including nominations for H-E-B's teacher awards.
Other items on the agenda included a new staff grooming and dress code and approval of a teacher certification waiver. The board also considered a memorandum of understanding between Marfa ISD and Presidio ISD concerning Redford students.
Trustees Paul Salgado, Jay Foster, Rene Gonzales, Jonathan Lockett and Board President Teresa Nunez were present at the meeting.
