Crews plan 20-minute highway closures over Lake Waco on Monday afternoon and night while they move bridge parts into place.
Highway 6 will close in 20-minute stretches at the Twin Bridges over Lake Waco on Monday, according to the project notice. The closures are expected between 2 and 4 p.m. and again between 8 p.m. and midnight.
The closures will let crews bring in precast bridge caps, the structural pieces that rest on the columns and span between them. The notice says work on the Highway 6 Twin Bridges replacement project is continuing.
