Texas law requires voters to bring one of seven forms of identification. Accepted forms include a Texas driver's license, Texas personal ID card, Texas handgun license or Texas election ID certificate, all issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Other accepted forms are a U.S. military ID card with a photo, a U.S. citizenship certificate with a photo, and a U.S. passport.
Several countywide races are on the ballot, including judge, clerk, tax assessor-collector and treasurer. Voters in Precinct 4, which includes most of Hutto, Taylor, Jarrell and Weir, and parts of Georgetown and Round Rock, will vote for their commissioner. The candidates are Republican incumbent Russ Boles and Democratic candidate Harmon Rhea. Write-in candidate Tish Flores is also listed, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
