Several underclassmen who ran at the district cross country meet last season are back for the Graham Steers and Lady Blues in 2026. Both teams hope that experience will help them advance beyond district.
On the boys' side, junior Nolan Wankowicz placed 27th at district last season, and junior Hudson Weatherman finished 33rd. Other returners include senior Andon Dewayne Masterfield, juniors Calvin Homan and Liam Bailey, and sophomore Dwayne Dunham.
On the girls' side, junior Taylan Locker, who was 29th at district last season, is the top returning Lady Blues runner. Senior Angela Fuentes is the only senior from last season. Junior Maddison Bishop and sophomores Jazman Kimbro, Anzley Howard and Finley Nevarez also competed at district last year.
Graham will compete in District 6-4A against Brock, Brownwood, Glen Rose, Mineral Wells and Stephenville.
