Children from the Alabama-Coushatta Head Start and Daycare Center visited the Tribal Learning Center on Oct. 29 for a Halloween event. Each tribal department took part, dressed in costumes and giving out candy and trinkets.

Tribal Communications Coordinator Debrina Dirden said it was fun to watch the children in costume receive candy from each department. "It's always a thrill to participate in such a special event and see the smiles on each child as they receive Halloween treats," Dirden said.

The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe is located between Livingston and Woodville on US Highway 190, in Polk County.
