Quilts by local quilters are on display in the Whatley Center foyer at NTCC. The exhibit is part of an annual tradition run by the college's art department, and this is its tenth year. The show runs from Wednesday, Nov. 4 through Monday, Nov. 23.
Mileah Hall, NTCC Professor of Art, said the exhibit has become a favorite among patrons. She said 34 pieces are on display this year, showing a range of styles and traditions.
A reception is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served. The public may view the exhibit during regular business hours. People are asked to call 903-434-8181 ahead of time to confirm the gallery is open.
