Two men were arrested in San Angelo after investigators connected a break-in at the Wall Co-Op Country Store to similar burglaries across West and Central Texas, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said it received a report of the burglary on Nov. 1. Investigators said evidence showed two people broke in through the front door and stole cash.
The sheriff's office said the break-in was later linked to similar burglaries in Menard, Kimble, Crockett, Reagan, Kendall, San Saba and McCulloch counties. Investigators from several agencies obtained arrest warrants for Isaiah Wyatt, 22, and Conner Levario, 21, the office said.
The sheriff's office said both men were taken into custody at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, with help from the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety. They were being held at the Tom Green County Detention Center on charges of burglary of a building. The sheriff's office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
