The Antler Cafe is a new restaurant at 518 N. Hobart in Pampa. Pete Long owns and operates it. Long said the cafe offers the small-town hospitality and country-style menu the Texas Panhandle is known for.

Long was born and raised in Pampa. He started as a teenage cook at Peggy's Place, a Pampa restaurant that closed many years ago. Several items on The Antler Cafe menu honor it, including the Peggy's Pancake Sandwich. Long said the menu is similar to Peggy's and that he talked with the family, who "thought it was awesome."

The building was previously Cyd's Cafe, owned by Andrew Morriss. Long said he began building a business plan in 2023 with help from the PEDC. He said he told Morriss he would be interested if Morriss ever wanted to leave the business. Long said Morriss is returning to work as a lineman.
