Taylor Farms is recalling the H-E-B Backyard BBQ Chop Salad Kit because it may contain soy and almonds that are not declared on the label, the company announced Oct. 27. The recall covers 13.4-ounce kits with a "Best If Used By" date of Oct. 30, 2026, and UPC 041220300457. The kits were distributed to H-E-B stores in Texas.
The company said people with a soy or almond allergy or sensitivity could have a serious reaction if they eat the product. No adverse reactions had been reported as of the announcement.
Customers are told not to eat the salad kit. They can throw it away or return it to an H-E-B store for a full refund.
