El Paso prosecutors have filed a misdemeanor assault charge against a Socorro ISD trustee over allegations involving a 16-year-old.
A Socorro Independent School District trustee has been formally charged in a misdemeanor case, according to the El Paso District Attorney's Office.
Ryan Woodcraft was charged Monday, Oct. 26, with assault causing bodily injury, the district attorney's office said. The case involves allegations that he placed a 16-year-old in a chokehold.
