Texas A&M coach Mike Elko said on an SEC coaches call that he still believes quarterback Marcel Reed gives the Aggies the best chance to win. Reed, in his third year as starter, has eight interceptions, the most in the SEC, and ranks near the bottom of the conference's major passing categories, according to the report. Backup Brady Hart has thrown for 143 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in limited action. Elko said Hart has had chances to show he is ready to start, and that a certain level of play must be reached before he gets more opportunity.

The Aggies play at No. 21 South Carolina (5-3, 3-3) on Saturday at 2 p.m. Texas A&M's last road win came on Nov. 8 of last season, a 38-17 victory at Missouri. South Carolina started SEC play 0-3 but has won three straight, most recently a 27-24 home win over then-No. 11 Tennessee.

South Carolina junior quarterback LaNorris Sellers has 1,849 passing yards this season, the fourth-most in the SEC, along with 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
