Voting in Texas continues until 7 p.m. local time, and voters who are in line by that time may still cast a ballot, according to election reminders published by The Texas Tribune.
Voters who forget a photo ID, or whose name is not on the voter rolls because of an administrative issue, can cast a provisional ballot. Voters whose registration is listed as "suspense" may still be able to vote by filling out a "statement of residence." Voters who make a mistake marking a ballot can receive up to two more ballots to make corrections before submitting it.
Voters who have problems at the polls can call the Texas Secretary of State's helpline at 1-800-252-VOTE (8683) or voting rights groups at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (687-8683).
