Taylor County sheriff's investigators say they found fewer than 10 images of child sexual abuse material on a man's phone while executing a search warrant, according to an affidavit filed Aug. 14.
The affidavit identifies the man as Luis Gaile Babastro. Investigators obtained a warrant on Aug. 14 to search his phone for digital images, the affidavit says. Investigators reported finding several images they identified as child sexual abuse material, including a collage showing multiple children.
The affidavit alleges that Babastro knowingly possessed the images in Taylor County on or about Aug. 14, 2026. The charge is based on the affidavit's allegations.
