Preliminary results are in for Jack County after polls closed on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. The county judge is likely to keep his position, based on the early count. New members could join the County Hospital District and Perrin-Whitt CISD boards.
The results are unofficial. Some winners have been declared, but the outcomes will not be final until all mail-in and provisional ballots are counted and certified by the state.
A total of 3,448 of 5,981 registered voters in Jack County took part, or 57.65 percent. The results include only ballots cast in Jack County. Final results for the school board race will also include parts of Palo Pinto and Parker counties. The top three candidates in that race will win seats on the board.
