He now has 2,053 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns this season, and 4,639 rushing yards and 61 touchdowns for his career, according to the newspaper.
Elkhart (3-6, 1-3) plays at Rice (3-6, 1-3) on Friday, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. The newspaper said Week 10 was the last regular-season week before the playoffs begin.
