Comal County released final early voting numbers on Monday. The county said 43.8% of its 152,440 registered voters cast early ballots in the midterm election. It did not say whether mail-in ballots are included in that figure.

The county compared the result with past elections. It said 38.1% of its 130,109 registered voters cast early ballots in the 2022 midterms, and 59% of its 143,985 registered voters cast early ballots in the 2024 presidential election. County spokesperson Cary Zayas said the county has more than 22,000 additional registered voters than in 2022. Zayas said this year's early voting rate was higher than the 2022 midterm but did not surpass 2024.

The county said its figures may differ from those on the Texas Secretary of State's website, which the state does not always update in real time. All election results are unofficial until they are certified through canvassing. Comal County results will be canvassed from Nov. 6 to Nov. 17.
