The eighth annual Blackcat Boo Bash Trunk or Treat will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in downtown Mexia. The event will take place on Commerce Street.
The event will include trunk-or-treat activities, food trucks and children's games. Music will be provided by DJ Huggie Bear.
Mexia Downtown and the City of Mexia are hosting the event, which the organizers describe as a chance for families to celebrate Halloween together in a downtown setting.
