Crystal City police are warning parents after a needle was found inside a Snickers candy bar following Halloween trick-or-treating. Precinct 2 Constable Mark A. Sanchez Jr. said the object was found Thursday night, according to a Facebook post.
Authorities urged everyone to stay alert, check all treats carefully, and report anything suspicious to law enforcement. "What should be a fun and memorable evening for our children should never put their safety at risk," the post said in part.
