The Diocese of El Paso hosted its 29th annual Border Mass on Saturday, October 31, at ABARA Old Fort Bliss, at 1820 W. Paisano Drive. The event brought together Catholic communities from El Paso, Las Cruces and Ciudad Juárez.
The Most Rev. Peter Baldacchino, Bishop of Las Cruces, was the principal celebrant. He was joined by the Most Rev. Mark J. Seitz, Bishop of El Paso; the Most Rev. Anthony C. Celino, Auxiliary Bishop of El Paso; and the Rev. José Armando Benavides Romero, Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Ciudad Juárez. The Diocese of El Paso said the annual Bi-National Border Mass brings the faithful of the three dioceses together to pray as one Church along the U.S.-Mexico border.
