Benjamin L. Worsham received the statewide award from the Texas Association of County Engineers and Road Administrators.
Benjamin L. Worsham, director of the Cameron County Department of Transportation and county engineer, has been named the 2026 County Engineer of the Year. The Texas Association of County Engineers and Road Administrators (TACERA) made the award.
It is the second time Worsham has received this statewide recognition. He also received it in 2022.
