Medina County remained a solid Republican county after Tuesday's midterm general election in Texas, according to the Hondo Anvil Herald.

Statewide, Democrats captured every statewide race on the ballot, including many judgeships. As of early Wednesday morning, Democrats possibly held a majority in the Texas House of Representatives.
