Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) has received a $1.354 million grant from the Moody Foundation. The college said the money will strengthen workforce development and expand Work4College, a program that has earned national recognition for helping students reduce college costs while gaining workplace experience.

NTCC said the grant will connect more students with work experiences, strengthen partnerships with regional employers and create more paths from the classroom to careers. It will also enhance career development services and employer engagement.

Dr. Jonathan McCullough, the college's Executive Vice President for Advancement, thanked the foundation. "This investment will allow us to expand opportunities for students while strengthening the connections between education, employers, and the workforce needs of Northeast Texas," he said.

The Moody Foundation, founded in 1942, supports education, health care, community development and other charitable initiatives across Texas.
