David Glasser, a founder of 101 Studios, said Wednesday at the Heart of North Texas conference that he and his partners, including Taylor Sheridan and SGS Studios, are in the middle of closing a deal on a location in the Walsh development. He described the restaurant as a new food concept that Sheridan has long wanted to pursue.
Glasser said the project should open within the next six months. The Fort Worth Report reported that an official announcement is expected around mid-2027. Glasser described the concept as "completely different, conceptually" and said it ties into other businesses owned by SGS Studios. He said the restaurant would be its original location and that it plans to expand to many more locations. He also said discussions are still underway.
Glasser said SGS Holdings allows the filmmakers to enter the Texas hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants and experiences. SGS Studios is a 450,000-square-foot production site in AllianceTexas. Mike Berry, president of Hillwood, moderated the one-on-one discussion with Glasser.
