Cypress Christian School has fired culture director Kris Hogan and chief financial officer and chief operating officer David Swan, according to the school. Hogan was fired October 28 after a third-party review of unspecified concerns raised over the summer, the school's board said. He had been on paid administrative leave for months. Interim Head of School Patrick Reents made the decision to end Hogan's employment. Reents told families in an update that he had also fired Swan, effective November 30.

School President Jeff Potts remains on administrative leave. The board placed him on leave in September while it conducts a separate investigation into his leadership. That investigation is ongoing.

The shakeup follows the April firing of coach Jared Barber over alleged sexual messages sent to a former male student who had moved to Georgia. A Georgia grand jury indicted Barber on August 18 on three criminal counts. The board said it will not release the full personnel review and asked people to avoid speculation about Hogan's dismissal.
