Lyndell Price, a former co-owner of the Turkey Leg Hut restaurant chain, was sentenced to 102 months in prison and three years of supervised release, according to ABC13. He must also complete an anger management program. The sentence was tied to charges in the 2020 arson of Bar 5015, a Houston nightclub in the Museum District.
Price pleaded guilty in June and admitted his role in coordinating the fire, the report said. Federal prosecutors said Price directed several men to carry out the arson. Investigators said surveillance video showed people carrying gasoline containers to the business and pouring it on a wooden deck outside the entrance. Authorities said one suspect then lit the fuel, causing an explosion and fire that damaged part of the building.
Federal officials charged four people in the case. Miziah Shepherd pleaded guilty in 2025 and admitted helping plan and carry out the attack. Prosecutors filed charges in 2025, nearly five years after the fire.
