Election Day voting in Nacogdoches County will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 19 polling locations. Elections Administrator Vicki Wood said voters must cast ballots at their own precinct locations. There will be no voting at the courthouse annex. More than 100 poll workers will staff the locations.
By the close of polls Thursday, nearly 35% of the county's 40,489 registered voters had already cast a ballot. That compares with nearly 44% for the same period in 2024. "Definitely a good increase for a midterm," Wood said. She said the turnout so far is a little short of the last presidential election.
Tuesday's precinct locations are the same as in the primary. Voters can find their location on their voter registration card or at nacvotes.com. The Elections Office can be reached at 936-560-7825.
