Texans will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, to decide races for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, statewide offices, the Texas Legislature and local positions. Voters may also see local ballot propositions, depending on where they live.
The statewide ballot includes governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, comptroller, land commissioner, agriculture commissioner and railroad commissioner. It also includes Texas Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Appeals seats, all 150 Texas House seats and State Board of Education seats. County ballots may list county judge, commissioners, district attorney, sheriff and other local offices, and some voters may decide bond or tax measures.
Polls are scheduled to be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Early voting runs from Oct. 19 through Oct. 30. Voters can review their sample ballot before they vote.
