The Dallas Cowboys lost 33-30 to the Arizona Cardinals. Dallas had a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter. Its defense then could not stop Arizona from tying the game, and the Cardinals won with a field goal in overtime after Chad Ryland missed an extra point in the final seconds of regulation.

Owner Jerry Jones said, "It's an indictment of the whole show." He said he was not blaming coach Brian Schottenheimer. "None of us are getting it done," Jones said. "And that should be my concern."

The Cowboys are 3-5. The Cardinals, who are 3-5 as well, have beaten Dallas five straight times and are 5-0 at AT&T Stadium. The Dallas defense forced three punts and two turnovers in the game.
