A man was killed early Monday in a crash between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 35W in Burleson, police said. The Burleson Police Department said officers were called to the crash around 4:22 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the 1700 block of northbound I-35W.
Police said the pickup driver, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupant of the tractor-trailer was not injured. Police have not released the identity of the man who died.
Northbound I-35W traffic is being diverted to the service road at Bethesda Road, and the Bethesda Road entrance ramp is closed, police said. The Texas Department of Transportation is helping with traffic control. Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
