The Pampa Lady Harvesters, who finished 21-19 overall and 5-8 in district play, ended their season Saturday with a three-set loss to the Canyon Lady Eagles. The scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-18. Junior Karsyn Brown recorded her 100th block in the match.

Head Coach Kaylee Samulowitz said 100 blocks is a major accomplishment. She said Brown had 56 blocks this season, double the total of any other player on the team. Samulowitz said the team finished in sole possession of fifth place in the district and felt like a playoff-caliber team. She said the team's aggressive serving and defensive pursuit drew notice from coaches around the district.

Samulowitz said the sub-varsity teams had strong seasons and that the program has talented players coming up, including an eighth-grade team. She said the team returns many varsity starters for next season.
