Eagle Pass Fire Department Company C rescued a kitten trapped inside a storm drain, according to a Nov. 1 post from the department. Firefighters responded to a call about the animal and pulled it out of the drain unharmed, the department said.
In its post, the department said not every call involves a large fire or a high-speed rescue, and that it is glad to help with smaller calls too. It thanked its crew and shared photos of firefighters holding the kitten after it was brought out of the drain.
