East Texas Baptist University's women's golf team finished second at the Abilene Intercollegiate, hosted by Hardin-Simmons University. The Tigers totaled 631, six strokes behind Hardin-Simmons, which finished with 625. Rylee Beard placed second individually with a 154, two shots off the medalist. Beard, Madisyn Davis and Hallie Westfall all finished in the top 10, and four ETBU golfers finished in the top 15.
The men's team finished eighth of eight teams with a 626. Drew Marshall was the top ETBU men's golfer, finishing seventh with a 145, five strokes off the medalist. Colby Connor and Hutton Hoelscher finished in the top 40.
According to the report, ETBU will next compete in spring 2027.
