Two people were killed in a head-on collision on Thursday on Highway 60, west of Easterwood Airport in Brazos County. The crash involved a pickup truck and a car near Jones Road, just before 6 p.m.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed the two deaths. It is not yet known whether anyone else was hurt.
Investigators were expected to remain at the scene for some time Thursday night, and drivers may face delays or detours. More information will be available after troopers complete their report.
