A 21-year-old Odessa man was arrested Sunday morning after being accused of hitting another man in the head with a beer bottle, according to an Odessa Police Department report.
The report said officers were dispatched to a home on East 35th Street for a fight call shortly after 7 p.m. Officers spoke with an injured man who said David Alonso Macias Jr., 21, hit him in the head with the bottle. Witnesses told officers they saw the two men arguing and heard the bottle break.
Macias was booked into the Ector County jail on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and family violence. He was released Tuesday after posting a $50,000 surety bond.
