Police say a vehicle struck a Southlake Fire Department ambulance on October 31 and then drove away. The crash happened around 5:50 p.m. at South Peytonville Avenue and Chimney Works Drive, where the ambulance had stopped at a stop sign, according to the Southlake Police Department. No one was reported injured.
Officers located Rycroft-Strickland, 43, a short time later. Jail records list a November 1 booking. Authorities accuse her of second-offense driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a vehicle-damage collision, and driving with an invalid license. Her combined bond was set at $9,000.
Rycroft-Strickland pleaded guilty in August 2026 to an earlier DWI and received 20 months of probation, according to court terms reviewed by US Weekly. She is presumed innocent of the new charges. She is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and a television personality.
