Shootings in nightlife districts in several U.S. cities over the Halloween weekend left at least six people dead and dozens injured, according to reports. Police in Dallas said four people were killed and 15 others were injured in a handful of shootings in the city's Deep Ellum neighborhood on Saturday night. Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said three separate shootings happened over about an hour and 15 minutes. He said investigators are still working to determine whether they were related and that some arrests had been made.

In Birmingham, Alabama, police said one person was killed and eight were wounded in a shooting near Legion Field after the Magic City Classic football game on Saturday night. Police Chief Michael Pickett said most spectators had left the stadium property, but the shooting happened nearby, where vendors were set up. Police said one person was detained and multiple weapons were found.

In Newark, Delaware, police said six people were shot late Saturday near the University of Delaware campus. All six were taken to hospitals. Police in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Bloomington, Illinois, also reported shootings in their nightlife districts this weekend.
