The Junior League of Tyler held a Preview Party Wednesday evening to open the 48th annual Mistletoe & Magic. The event gave visitors an early look at the holiday shopping event at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center, which includes more than 70 vendors.
According to the league, the event lets shoppers start their holiday shopping while raising money for other nonprofits in Smith County. The four-day event includes a private shopping experience Thursday morning, general shopping Thursday and Friday, and a Girls Night Out and Style Show Friday evening.
This year's event also adds a Holiday Tea on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. The tea will offer a high tea experience with fine china, tea sandwiches and pastries. A breakfast with Santa is planned for Saturday morning, followed by shopping until 4 p.m. Tickets and more information are available on the league's website.
