A rollover crash involving a propane truck closed the intersection of FM 1716 and CR 2126 near Lake Cherokee in Rusk County on Wednesday morning, according to the Elderville-Lakeport Volunteer Fire Department.

Emergency crews were at the scene to manage the incident and clean up the crash, the department said. The intersection was expected to stay closed for several hours.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area, use alternate routes and be careful around emergency personnel.
