A monthly Community Prayer Gathering is open to everyone. The event is sponsored by several churches in the area and meets on the first Sunday of each month.

The gathering is held at Redimidos Por Cristo Church at 131 S. College St. in La Grange, across the street from Tejas Healthcare. It begins at 5 p.m.

Organizers invite residents to join them in prayer for the local community, the nation and the world.
