Officers allegedly recovered more than four ounces of marijuana in an inmate's laundry bag during a shakedown earlier this month at the Bowie County jail annex in Texarkana, Texas.

According to the reports, officers searched cell G-2 on the morning of Oct. 13. They reportedly found a tightly wrapped ball of plastic wrap held together with black tape inside an orange bag.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
