Six people were hospitalized with serious injuries Saturday evening after a crash involving five vehicles, including a semi-truck, authorities said. Denton police and Denton fire crews responded around 7:30 p.m. to the crash in the 8400 block of West University Drive and Willow Lane, near the Parker House Haunted Attractions.
First responders treated multiple victims at the scene before six people were taken to a local hospital. All three westbound lanes of Highway 380 near the intersection were closed while officers and emergency personnel cleared debris. Motorists were urged to use alternate routes.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Denton police.
