The Laredo Paranormal Research Society will hold its final event of the season at the Ft. McIntosh Cemetery. The event is set for Thursday from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at Laredo College on West End Washington Street.
Attendees can hear from paranormal experts, listen to ghost stories and learn about the history of the cemetery. The cemetery honors military personnel who served at the historic post from 1849 to 1946. The society partnered with the Laredo College Office of Student Life to offer ghost tours and paranormal investigations for students. Reservations are required and can be made through Eventbrite.
The society also picked a winner from an earlier contest, Desiree Rodriguez Espinoza. Earlier October events were held across the campus, including at the Chapel & Commander's Home on Oct. 8 and Arechiga Hall on Oct. 22. The society livestreamed the events on its social media pages and used ECTO-1 sensors and FLIR thermal cameras.
