The Lavaca County Sheriff's Office has announced the promotion of two members of its jail staff. The office said the promotions recognize their professional contributions and their commitment to serving the community.
Juan "Sal" Salvador Saucedo has been promoted to jail sergeant. According to the sheriff's office, Saucedo started with the department as a correctional officer and quickly stood out for his work ethic, professionalism and willingness to learn.
